Research Goals
Goal 1
Build and promote a productive coalition of internal and external resources, thought leaders, and stakeholder representatives.
- Establish infrastructure and expertise to support VC translational research.
- Provide access to Real-World VC Research Data and VC Expertise.
Goal 2
Using semi-structured interviews, assess facilitators and barriers to achieving equitable and sustainable VC from key stakeholders.
- Conduct interviews with underserved populations, UNC providers, health leaders/administrators, and policy/payer representatives.
- Understand facilitators and barriers to VC adoption and sustainability.
Goal 3
Develop and validate consensus around VC Equity and Value frameworks (i.e., outcome metrics and measurement approaches).
- Modify and test measurement frameworks for access to care, patient and family experience, clinical outcomes, quality and safety, provider well-being, and financial and operational impact.
